These beautiful senior pictures in Washington, DC were taken at the historic Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. This senior session was a sunrise session. Early morning sessions may seem intimidating but the lighting is absolutely phenomenal and worth getting up early for. This morning started off pretty chilly but D, the senior, powered through her session like a natural.

I was so excited that my first pictures of the season were going to be these beautiful Alexandria, Virginia maternity photos! This family of three (soon to be four) was so fun to capture. K, the mom, was very beautiful. She looked amazing in her blue, floral dress! She was absolutely glowing. Seeing her and M, the dad, together was so sweet…

It was so wonderful to meet this family who, coincidentally, are relatives of previous clients of mine! C, the dad, is the brother of a past client who did her maternity session with me as well as two newborn sessions. I love when I get to photograph multiple clients from the same family! This Fairfax County, Virginia in home newborn session was so fun and chill. This family of four was wonderful and very easy to work with. I love doing this style of newborn session because the family feels most comfortable and relaxed at home. I can always get natural, authentic images that turn out beautifully…

Another round of mini sessions is in the books! I love the variety of clients I had for this set of Chantilly, Virginia fall mini sessions. There were two senior sessions, one maternity session, one individual session and the rest were all family sessions. I went back to the same location I discovered with my last set of minis in Chantilly, Virginia. The location was so beautiful and perfect for this shoot!

Christmas season is officially on the horizon! My Christmas mini sessions are just what I needed to get me in the holiday spirit! The mini sessions took place at Silver Lake Park in Haymarket, Virginia. The original plan was to have a red truck and Santa for these sessions. However, the Santa who owns the red truck had an unfortunate medical emergency that will require him to take this Christmas season off.
