Photo Studio
Located in Gainesville, Virginia, the TBP studio is the perfect location for heirloom sessions. The photo studio is available at no additional cost and is designed to make your experience as seamless as possible. There's no need to worry about weather or cleaning your house.

The Heirloom Photography Process
The best part about working with a highly recommended heirloom photographer in Northern Virginia? We work together to ensure that your family has the best photo experience possible.
01. Inquire
Connect with our team using the contact form on our website and let’s talk! You’ll communicate with Belle to discuss your photo needs and choose the perfect package for you and your family. With a signed contract and paid deposit, your session is officially booked.
02. Planning & Styling
We love to work closely with all of our clients to plan their photo sessions so get ready for a fun and collaborative process! We’ll discuss any preference you have and plan your child's wardrobe.
03. Session Day
We’re always excited for this day! We’ll hang out at my family- and kid-friendly studio in Gainesville, VA, where I’ll capture your child’s heirloom photos. I’ll guide them through the session, but most importantly, I’ll make sure they’re having fun the whole time!
04. Viewing & Design Consultation
Within 30 days after your session, your images will be ready for viewing! We’ll reconnect via Google Meet to view your proofing gallery and select your favorite photos together. I’ll also assist you in designing the custom artwork that perfectly fits your home.
05. Bespoke Artwork
We will arrange for a date and time for you to pick up your artwork at the studio to display in your home or to gift to loved ones (or both). Your beautiful pieces will be ready to showcase, adding a touch of nostalgia to your space and a smile on your face.

Frequently Asked Questions
The best time to create these heirloom portraits is when your little one is between 6-8 months and up to age 8. For this session, your child should be able to sit unassisted.
Heirloom sessions typically take 10-20 minutes, depending on your child's age and how comfortable they feel. Some little ones need a bit of time to warm up before their true personality shines through, so we don't rush or set a strict time limit.
I offer sibling photos, and we’ll capture these early in the session when everyone is at their happiest. Your sitting fee covers up to three siblings.
When you book your child's heirloom session, you'll have access to the TBP Client Closet, filled with beautiful, timeless pieces perfect for this special session. If you'd prefer to use your own, I’ll share a list of my favorite boutiques and brands. For a true heirloom look, I recommend choosing outfits with dainty details like ruffled collars, lace, or smocking.
Digital images aren’t included in the sitting fee but can be purchased during your viewing and design consultation. Each digital package includes both digital images and artwork credit, which can be used toward your bespoke artwork purchase.
