I want to learn more about you & your family! Do you only need photos for 1 child? Or are we doing sibling photos as well? We will schedule a consultation call where I will walk you through the TBP experience and process to ensure that we are a good fit.

Styling

Wardrobe choices play an important role in how your photos will look.

You will get access to TBP Client Closet which has a carefully curated collection of beautiful & timeless pieces for your heirloom session. If you opt to use your own, you will also get a list of my favorite boutiques and brands to purchase the heirloom pieces from. I will provide guidance on the best piece to purchase for your session.

Heirloom Photo Day

Finally! Your big day!

The day that I am always looking forward to!!! We get to hang out at our family- and kid-friendly studio in Gainesville, VA where we will do your child's heirloom photos. I will guide them; but most importantly, I will make sure they're having fun!!!

Viewing & Design Consultation

Prepare to fall in love with your child's heirloom photos!

Within 3-4 weeks after your session, your images will be ready for viewing. We’ll meet again via Google Meet to see your proofing gallery and choose your favorites. I will assist you in designing the custom artwork you'd like for your home.

Bespoke Artwork

Because your photos deserve to be displayed in your home!

We will arrange for a date and time for you to pick up your artwork at the studio to display in your home or to gift to loved ones (or both).

Frequently Asked Questions

Babies from about 6-8 months through kids age 8 are typically the best ages to create these heirloom portraits. Your child needs to be able to sit unassisted for this portrait session.

Heirloom photography can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes, depending on the age and cooperation level of the child. Some little ones need a little “warming up” before their real personality comes out. Therefore, there’s no exact time limit on the time.

I do offer sibling photos. We can do this towards the beginning of the session while everyone is the happiest. Your sitting fee covers portrait sitting for up to 3 siblings.

When you book your child's heirloom session, you will get access to the TBP Client Closet which has a carefully curated beautiful & timeless pieces for an heirloom session. If you opt to use your own, you will also get a list of favorite boutiques and brands. For a true heirloom look, I recommend choosing clothing that has dainty details like ruffled collars, lace, smocking, etc. 

Digital images are not included in the sitting fee; but can be purchased at your viewing & designing consultation. Each digital image package comes with digital images and artwork credit that you can use towards your bespoke artwork purchase.

Sitting fee is $250 and is due to book your date. 


Bespoke artwork and digital files are purchased separately. Artwork begins at $600. Digital files begin at $500.
