Oh my gosh! I cannot wait to share with you Jeanne’s Manassas Battlefield maternity photos last weekend. Jeanne was the winner of the recent Maternity Photo Giveaway I hosted on Instagram back in March. When she won, she was only 17 weeks so we waited for a few more months because she wasn’t showing yet.

Taking days off during Thanksgiving was a much needed break that I truly enjoyed. I wish I can say how relaxing taking a break from work is. But with a 4-month old baby and 2 school-aged kids at home, my days off from work have never been relaxing. But, they’ve always been fulfilling and have always made my heart so happy. So I am grateful for those days that I was able to enjoy and spend solely with my family. And now I’m back to share with you the maternity photos that I took before my Thanksgiving break at Lake Ridge Marina in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Under normal circumstances, hiring a professional photographer to do your maternity photos is a great idea. But since we’ve been limited as to what we can and cannot do, not to mention all the stay at home orders in place because of the coronavirus, doing DIY maternity photoshoot is most likely your only option to document this special time of your life.
