Fairfax County, Virginia Fall Mini Sessions

Fall Mini Sessions in Fairfax County, Virginia
It was a chilly and cloudy morning when I hosted my Fairfax County, Virginia fall mini sessions a few months ago. On my way to the park, it was drizzling on & off so I was scared it’s going to rain; but there was no rain in the forecast so I decided to trust that it will not rain. Haha! Actually, while in the middle of the fall minis, it drizzled for a bit but I’m glad that it was just a for a few minutes. After a 2022’s rain incident during one of my fall minis in Haymarket, VA, I have been traumatized with rain.
This location is a new fall minis location. When I did spring minis at this location earlier this year, I must say that I didn’t like the park that much because I felt limited with what I can do since I stayed in one spot and focused on all the beautiful flowers. I mean, that’s what spring is all about, right? But after doing a full family session here in early October, I fell in love with it. I decided to use a different spot with bigger space so that I can do what I normally do during mini sessions.
I was able to spend time with 9 families during these fall mini sessions. It was a mixture of new families and repeat clients. All families had younger kids and I had so much fun playing with them. One of my repeat clients was from spring minis this year and gifted her parents a photoshoot with her kids and it was the sweetest session ever. Seeing the grandparents’ relationship with the kids is so beautiful. Now it makes me want to offer mini sessions specifically for kids and grandparents. Haha!
I am so grateful for all these families who have trusted me to do their fall mini sessions in Fairfax County, Virginia a few weekends ago. Either new or repeat clients, your trust and support mean the world to me.
