Red Truck Minis in Fairfax County, VA

A few weeks ago marks my second year of doing the red truck mini sessions in Fairfax County, VA. It’s incredible how time has flown since last year’s red truck mini session in Northern Virginia. It was a fun-filled day, but little did I know that this year’s session would bring even more heartwarming stories, connections and fun experiences!

The initial plan had been to welcome 12 families to our Christmas minis; however, the weather had other plans so we had to reschedule to the next day. Unfortunately, one family couldn’t make it, but hopefully, next time, our schedule could meet and we can still work together. 

Our red truck mini session in Fairfax County, VA, featured both new and familiar faces. I am so touched to see returning clients who had shared this journey with me before. One of them had experienced the magic of red truck minis last year while another had joined me for our spring minis earlier this year. We had 2 families who brought their furry family members. The pure joy that these dogs brought was a beautiful addition to our mini session.

One of the most heartwarming moment was seeing a child who had been indifferent about Santa last year become really excited to meet him and spend time with him. Witnessing moments like these will surely bring a smile to anyone’s face!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! It’s just the right amount of chill to transport us directly into the Christmas spirit. Most of the older kids enjoyed spending time with Santa but the babies and the toddlers had a mix reaction to meeting him. Some of them loved him while others were a bit apprehensive and unsure, but all these kids reactions were lovely just the same. We had a toddler who chose to play with rocks alongside Santa and another who couldn’t resist exploring everything, from Santa’s beard to his suit buttons!

To all the families, thank you very much for spending your day with me. These moments, filled with laughter, unexpected and genuine fun moments are the reason why I love to do what I do. It’s not only about capturing photos but also sharing fun experiences and creating memories with old and new people. It’s an honor to be part of your cherished holiday memories.
