Last weekend’s fall family session at Claude Moore Park in Sterling, Virginia was my first session since the quarantine happened back in March. I’ve really missed being behind the camera and capturing special moments during family sessions. And I couldn’t be any more grateful that this beautiful family has chosen me to document the season of life they’re currently in, their fun & playful spirits, and of course, their love.
When I met them at the parking lot of Claude Moore Park, G (daughter) and Baby J (son) were very shy at first, as probably any child would be when they meet someone for the very first time. But by the time our session ended, both kids told me they had so much fun. I surely can’t deny that I had a blast with them during our family session in Loudoun County. Because, why wouldn’t I? We chatted about Paw Patrol, Trolls World Tour, and Monster Jam Monster Truck. We also sang and did a little bit of dancing. Isn’t that a fun-filled family session?
But the part of our family session that I loved the most was watching them be their fun selves & the way they love one another. I mean, I would ask them to sit or stand next to each other and without any instructions, G & Baby J would lovingly kiss C (mom) and J (dad); or when G & Baby J took a snack break and the next thing I know, they were kissing each other or snuggling adorably on the bench that they were sitting on. Good thing I don’t really put my camera down even during breaks to capture in between moments like that.
C & J – I can never say this enough, thank you for trusting me to freeze your memories during our family session last weekend in Loudoun County. I am truly honored that you have chosen me to do that. It was wonderful meeting both of you and your 2 adorable & sweet kids, G and Baby J. It was so beautiful to watch your family love one another the way you did during our family session. I had so much fun with you last weekend! 🙂
