Back in August, A, the mom, has reached out to me about a lifestyle newborn session for their first-born child. Since then, I have been looking forward to that day. Not just because I’m excited to take their pictures  but because I know how special that time will be is for them. They’ll get to hold Baby C in their arms while I document everything.

Before the year ends, I always love to look back at all the things that had happened to me that year (even before I started this photography business). So since 2020 just started, I’d like to look back at all the sessions I did and all the events I had covered.

How fall perfect was this family & maternity session I did last week at Lake Ridge Park Marina in Woodbridge, Virginia? From the outfit color choices that this beautiful family wore to the leftover fall colors & fall leaves at the marina, I love everything about this session.

Christmas is surely my favorite holiday. Growing up in the Philippines, where our Christmas decorations are up & Christmas songs are played as soon as the first day of September hits, I always look forward to this special time of year. The family traditions, the chilly weather, the festive decorations & music, shopping gifts for your loved ones, the fun holiday activities… there’s something about Christmas that just makes me so much happier!

My session with this beautiful family at Bon Air Park 2 weekends ago was nothing short of amazing! This charming park in Arlington, Virginia, although small, has a lot of picturesque spots. And I love the pops of color the beautiful blooms, in the rose garden, added to our family session.

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning in August when I met these fun family at Locust Shade Park in Triangle, Virginia. Originally, our family session was scheduled on June 9th. But because of rain, we had to reschedule.
