Officially opening the TBP Studio earlier this year has opened up a whole lot of fun sessions for me to do this year. One of them was a whimsical milestone session for an adorable girl who just recently turned 5. C, the mom, and I had so much fun planning this session. We decided to use my custom hand-painted backdrop, along with some twinkle lights, to bring C’s vision to life.
S, the birthday girl, wore 2 different outfits for her milestone session. One of the dresses she wore was actually matching with mom. We did a few family photos and mommy & daughter photos at the beginning of the photoshoot before we did S’s photos by the backdrop. Mom’s goal was to capture who S is at that moment, her smile, her giggle, and her delicious laugh. So of course, I worked really hard to get S to laugh. I probably shouldn’t share what I did to make her laugh this hard for a while but I will say that when I heard her laugh… oh my, it was music to my ears. She really had a delicious laugh. All my efforts certainly paid off. 🙂
