Christmas is surely my favorite holiday. Growing up in the Philippines, where our Christmas decorations are up & Christmas songs are played as soon as the first day of September hits, I always look forward to this special time of year. The family traditions, the chilly weather, the festive decorations & music, shopping gifts for your loved ones, the fun holiday activities… there’s something about Christmas that just makes me so much happier!
Last August, I had the pleasure of doing a branding session with Khadijah, the owner of Playtime Event Sitters in her office space in Tysons, Virginia. Check out the fun shoot that we had & I’m also sharing the awesome idea behind her business!
One of our family traditions is to take the kids where they want to go (as long as we can afford it) on their birthday. So on the weeks leading up to my son’s 4th birthday, he told us that he wanted to go to the zoo which wasn’t a surprise at all since he loves animals. So on his birthday weekend, my husband and I decided to do a family trip to Virginia Beach.
