SENIOR PHOTOS IN STERLING, VIRGINIA

K, the senior, was such a trooper during her Claude Moore Park senior pictures in Sterling, Virginia. The weather was extremely windy and chilly. I am so glad we decided to wait until April to schedule this session because we were originally thinking of taking them in March. They had just arrived back from their spring break the day before the session, perfect timing!

K chose four different outfits for her senior pictures. I absolutely love that she had a variety! She chose outfits that were both casual and dressy. They all looked so cute on her! Senior sessions are all about making the photoshoot fun and showcasing the senior’s personality. Most seniors have a variety of different interests and sides to their personality. By wearing multiple outfits during their senior pictures, they can showcase their unique style in many ways! I always highly encourage having fun with the session and the outfits you choose to wear.

These senior pictures were taken at Claude Moore Park in Sterlington, Virginia. I love this location for many reasons! There are so many spots to find a variety of beautiful backgrounds to use for a session. I have done fall family photos here before and I was excited to shoot here again. All the spots were perfect for all of the different outfits she had!

K brought A, her best friend, to her senior session. We photographed them together at the end of their session. They had so much fun together! They wore coordinating dresses; they are absolutely adorable together and we laughed almost the whole time. It was a lot of fun and the perfect addition to her senior pictures! I know that looking back on these and her friendship with A, these photos will mean so much to K when she is older and looking through her senior photos.

K’s mom, A, was such a fun and cool mom! She was so attentive to K’s needs the whole session. She had K’s jacket ready to warm her up from the cold. She definitely was paying attention the whole time because when I took their photos towards the end to document this special milestone, her mom did a pose that I asked K to do a lot of which resulted in tons of laughter! I can only hope that when my daughter, A, grows up, I will have the same kind of relationship with her and be as cool as K’s mom!

K and A – I had the best time capturing these Claude Moore Park senior pictures! You both are so much fun! I love the relationship you two share. Bringing all the outfit choices and K’s best friend along for your photos made the session even more special. Thank you for letting be a part of capturing such a fun season in your life!
