FALL FAMILY PICTURES IN CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA BY A NORTHERN VIRGINIA PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ll admit, I started off a little on edge for these Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Fall Family Photos. The forecast was originally calling for rain. We waited until the night before the session to finalize our decision to go through with it or not. Fortunately, the forecast changed from a rainy day to a cloudy day, so we went for it! However, on my drive over to the location, it was drizzling rain. I was so nervous but knew the session must go on! Thank goodness that the rain stopped just as I arrived to Ellanor C. Lawerence Park. It was such a relief and we got started right away to get the best light possible!
One thing I love about the Ellanor C. Lawerence Park for a shooting location is that there are four different parks within it. They each have their own beautiful shooting locations I like to use and it helped give these Fall Family Photos some variety. Two parks are within walking distance and the other two parks are just a short drive away. The original park area I wanted to begin the session with had an event going on so we started at the Visitor Center area.
This park has a beautiful stone house with pretty blooms and greenery. The light was absolutely wonderful! After we took photos at the stone house we moved towards the pond and bridge area. Isn’t the second location as beautiful as the first one?!
I was so impressed with A, the dad, as he was the one who coordinated the family’s outfits for their Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Fall Family Photos. They were so good! The color coordination of the outfits blew me away. This was my first time meeting a man who not only enjoys planning outfits for the family but does an excellent job of it as well! M, the mom, looked so beautiful in her dress! The baby, Z, did amazing for her photos. She didn’t shed a tear and happily moved along to some of her favorite songs “Itsy Bitsy Spider”, “The Wheels on the Bus” and “Baby Shark”. Z was so sweet and fun to capture.
I wish the rain hadn’t cut this session a little shorter than usual. This family was so fun to meet and get to know. I wish I had a little more time with them! However, we were still able to grab some amazing photos for their Fall Family Pictures that I think they will love!
A, M and Z – thank you so much for trusting me with your family photos. You are all a beautiful bunch and I hope to meet you again someday!
