Maternity Photography in Meadowlark Botanical Gardens
These Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Maternity Photos kept us on our toes from the beginning! The Virginia weather forecast was all over the place for the day of this session. It flipped back and forth from a chance of rain to a cloudy day. Thankfully, B, the mama to be and M, the dad to be, stuck with me and we waited until the day of the session to make our final call. We were so fortunate to only have a cloudy forecast for the day and we were able to make the session happen. I am so glad that we did because it turned out beautifully!
The location for this maternity session couldn’t have been more beautiful! We shot these maternity pictures at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. I didn’t see a single spot at this location that couldn’t produce breath taking images! I am so happy with this couple’s decision to go with this location. Although the weather was cloudy and we didn’t see a lot of sunlight, the beauty of the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens more than compensated for the weather and gave us some gorgeous images!
B did a wonderful job of coordinating outfits for her and M for this session. The outfits complemented one another beautifully and worked perfectly in this location. I can’t believe she walked around the park in three inch heels! She made it look so effortless and beautiful, all while pregnant! She wisely brought along a pair of flats just in case, however, we kept asking if she’d like to change and she just rocked her heels! I can’t even do that and I’m not pregnant. I wore flats and my feet were hurting. B is truly amazing!
B and M were so much fun to capture. I absolutely love their relationship! They haven’t lost their youthful passion for one another. They light up when they look at one another and are so full of joy and love! M was so sweet to watch as he cared for B during their session, she’s very lucky! B’s energy made this maternity session so easy for me to capture. She’s such a joy and knew what poses worked for her, I was so impressed! They reminded me so much of why I love what I do. Being able to capture their unique connection and their joy during this new milestone in life just makes my heart so happy!
B and M – What an absolute honor it was to capture these Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Maternity Photos for you! You two have such a wonderful romantic relationship and I can’t imagine how much that will grow as you become first time parents together! I couldn’t stop smiling and giggling as I was going through the photos in your session. Your personalities absolutely shine through these images. I hope you cherish them and they bring you happiness when you look back on this stage of your life together!
