NORTHERN VIRGINIA LIFESTYLE NEWBORN SESSION | ASHBURN, VIRGINIA

Last weekend’s in home newborn session was very special. This family was very close to my heart. 2 years ago, a few months after launching TuBelle Photography, I had the honor of capturing special moments for this family. I did their family photos in Ashburn, Virginia while G, the older sister, was just 2; and M, the younger sister, was 10 months old. And since then, K, the mom, and I have been Instagram friends.

When I was pregnant with Baby R, K and I would chat about my third baby and her also wanting a third one. So imagine how excited I was when she reached out to me to do their lifestyle newborn photos at their home in Loudoun County, Virginia. Last weekend, I FINALLY met Baby C, the newest addition to their sweet family. Oh he was so precious and loved his mama so much. He never wanted to be away from her; it made me miss Baby R. Haha!

G and M have grown A LOT since I last saw them. During our session 2 years ago, I was only chatting with G and her love of princesses. But last weekend, I was chatting with both of them about their favorite animal, popcorn, and so much more. They even showed me some of their tricks. G was really awesome in giving me a tour of their beautiful home; she even showed me the bathroom where she has some pretty cool princess stuff. Of course, K, B, the dad, and I were just chatting about anything under the sun in between their photo shoot.

We had a little accident with Baby C’s outfit for the photoshoot. It had a hole in the tummy area. So K requested for just 1 photo of him wearing that knotted gown because she specifically bought it for their in home newborn photos. But guess what? With strategic holding of Baby R and using the right angles, we managed to use it for 95% of the time.

It was such an honor to be able to document this special milestone in their family’s life. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you were probably thinking that I always say that in every session. But I truly mean it. Every session I do, every milestone I get to document, for me is an honor. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Especially when it’s a family who I’ve done photos for before. Because they’ve trusted me and supported my small business, and I will be forever grateful.

K & B – Thank you for trusting me again to freeze these moments for you. It is an honor to be able to document your family’s milestone. It was great seeing everyone again and meeting Baby C. I had a blast taking your lifestyle newborn pictures at your home in Loudoun County, Virginia. Wishing both of you tons of rest and sleep!!! I hope you like seeing your family through my lens. 🙂
