Spring Minis At A Virginia Lakeside Location
This year is the third year TBP has offered spring mini sessions at this lakeside location in Haymarket, VA; but let me tell you, that I can never grow tired of it. This location, even though small, has a lot of beautiful spots for me to host my yearly spring minis. Every single time I come back, I discover a part of the park that seems like I have never seen before. Remember during last year’s Prince William County, VA spring minis, I used a location with an unobstructed view of the lake but a bit further back.
I have never seen this lakeside location to have any sort of blooms within the park in spring. Imagine how delighted I was when I saw some blooms as I walked around. There weren’t a lot of them so I knew I had to be strategic when using the spot. And I’m glad that my vision worked out. Everyone loved their photos from their spring mini sessions.
I had the honor of working with 5 families for these lakeside spring minis. 2 of them were returning clients whose families have grown since I last saw them, 1 was a referral from 2 current clients, and 2 are new families. Most of the families wanted to document the current season of their lives; while 2 of them wanted to commemorate this special time of them expecting their first baby through photos. Regardless of where you are in your life, a spring mini session is a quick and easy way to ensure you have photos to remember this phase in your lives.
Surprisingly, it was a cold spring day. I was actually wearing a chunky sweater to keep myself warm during these lakeside spring mini sessions. These beautiful families were such troopers for braving the fall-like weather and wearing spring outfits despite how chilly it was.
