MATERNITY PICTURES IN ALEXANDRIA, VA

I was so excited that my first pictures of the season were going to be these beautiful Alexandria, Virginia maternity photos! This family of three (soon to be four) was so fun to capture. K, the mom, was very beautiful. She looked amazing in her blue, floral dress! She was absolutely glowing. Seeing her and M, the dad, together was so sweet. Their little boy J, the big brother, was adorable and so playful! He was very interested in taking in all of the sights of the park, especially the water! It was so cute to see his excitement.

The weather cooperated graciously and was perfect for capturing these maternity pictures! The slight breeze from the spring time air brushed against K’s hair and dress to make them flow beautifully in the wind! It was a gorgeous weather for a session. We were hoping that those pretty springtime blooms would be peeking out in time for these maternity photos. Unfortunately, there weren’t as many blooms as we’d hoped. However, we were still able to make it work!

This location has a beautiful side of the park that is stunning even without the lush spring greens we were anticipating. We found one beautiful tree on our way out from the session that we just had to grab some pictures next to. All in all, these Alexandria, Virginia maternity photos turned out amazing! This family did so wonderful and we were able to capture some beautiful images to mark this special milestone in their story. I enjoyed getting to know them and chatting with K about all things motherhood.

You both are already such wonderful parents to little J and I know he is going to make one great big brother. Congratulations on the newest addition to your precious family!
