I had the best time doing a branding session in Gainesville, Virginia, with Angela, the owner of Carter Group Creative. I met Angela back in 2021 when she booked a fall mini session for her kids. Since then, our relationship developed and we became friends. 

Her company, Carter Group Creative, not only specializes in event planning, but also provides great service and curate blueprints for a creative experience that their clients can execute. Their company offers time-saving solutions, creative innovations, design concepts, food and beverage planning as well as vendor selection. I love that they provide a personal touch and is dedicated to turning their client’s vision into extraordinary reality with a well-planned and delightful experience every time. What a great company, right?!

I took her branding photos at Target to showcase the fascinating world of prop sourcing, where Angela shows her great personality and her fun-loving side. Then we made our way to a nearby café in Gainesville, VA where I captured how she sets up those captivating scenes that you can see in her portfolio. Angela loves flowers and is a wine enthusiast so I made sure to incorporate them in our photoshoot as well. Her outfits for all locations were curated to incorporate her brand colors and her love of fashion, while making sure that we maintain a professional look all throughout.

While most of their content that they have are currently in the social side of the business, we made sure to highlight her talent in corporate planning, design concepts, and décor solutions. We also managed to squeeze in some extra shots for Angela’s upcoming holiday content.

Together, we wove a bit of magic into every frame, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that experience!
