I know we’ve had crisp weather the past few weeks so fall is definitely here; but with everything going on with TBP earlier this year, I never got to share the garden spring mini sessions that are also worthy to be shared.
For the past 2 years, the kids and I have been preparing for their First Holy Communion, an important sacrament for us Catholics. When it came time to schedule the ceremony, it happened to fall on the same morning as my spring mini sessions. I thought to myself, no big deal—I had a few hours in between and I’m pretty sure it would all work out. The day finally arrived, and witnessing my kids receive their First Holy Communion was one of the most emotional and beautiful moments I’ve experienced as a mom. I may or may not have shed a tear or two. Haha! But life happened that day, we had a family emergency and we found ourselves somewhere that afternoon. Without eating lunch and using someone else’s car, I went to my mini sessions determined to give all the families who trusted TBP a wonderful experience.
These garden spring minis consisted of mostly returning clients, a few new ones, and a referral from a past client who booked us a year before. While I love getting to serve new families, there’s a special place in my heart for returning clients and clients who were referred by past clients because that means they had an amazing experience that they chose to work with us again and refer us to their family and friends. And of course, I want to ensure that they get the same level of care and experience, if not better, during their last session with us.
It was another crowded day at this photographer-favorite park. Another photographer and I shared this little spot that we used for these garden spring mini sessions. She’s actually someone I used to hang out with; it was great to see her in person again and catch up before our clients arrived. Overall, it was a beautiful day for spring minis. All the families had a wonderful time and it never occurred to them that I was going through something that day. One returning client had asked me about it because she saw something on my Instagram stories and just wanted to find out how I was doing; we also chatted about TBP and how it has been growing since she has worked with us. Although she is a returning client, it was our first time meeting; she had worked with Brittany, my very first associate photographer, before. I love that during that short period of time, it felt like I was hanging out with a friend even though we just met in person. It truly warms my heart every time I remember that moment.
“I cannot rave enough about the wonderful experience we had with Belle! From start to finish, Belle treats her clients like friends – which makes for such a wonderful and comfortable experience. Her talent behind the lens is unmatched, capturing every precious moment with such clarity and warmth. Working with her was an absolute joy, and the photos are treasured memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a photographer who not only excels in her craft but also makes the entire process effortless and enjoyable, look no further than Belle!”
