Old Town Alexandria Senior Photos for High School Sisters
My most recent session a few weeks ago combined my love for family & senior photography. I love photographing families because I’ve always been fascinated with the interactions & connections between family members. I enjoy senior sessions because I love capturing photos that show the real personalities of my senior clients. Well a few weekends ago, I got the best of both worlds. I got to photograph 2 high school sisters for their Old Town Alexandria senior pictures.
Old Town Alexandria is a charming & historic downtown in Alexandria, Virginia with tons of beautiful restaurants and shops. It is near the Potomac River and also close to various parks. You can read more about it here.
S & L, the high school sisters, have a unique bond that can be easily noticed even for the short period of time that we were together. Other than trying to get their personalities show in the photos which was super fun, I also focused on documenting the connection that they both have. It was very beautiful to watch them.
They started their senior session wearing a white dress with sandals. We kicked off their photoshoot at an alley. We then walked towards the waterfront where we did some of my favorite photos from their session. We finished their photoshoot at a beautiful cobblestone street wearing their college t-shirts paired with jeans and matching sneakers.
S, L, & A – I had the best time at doing your senior pictures at Old Town Alexandria. You two rocked the photoshoot effortlessly. I am honored that you’ve trusted me to document this special milestone in your lives. Thank you so much! I can’t wait to see all the adventures that you both will take soon.
