At Home Newborn Photos In Leesburg, VA

N, the mom, and A, the dad, sat comfortably on their couch while N was holding Baby L during their Leesburg, Virginia at home newborn pictures. A was leaning towards N with his arm on the back of the couch. They were both admiring their precious baby boy. And without any guidance from me, they both just naturally looked at each other and smiled. N giggled, and her eyes sparkled even more as she looked into A’s eyes.

A and N were like this the majority of there newborn photos we were doing at their home. It was truly a beautiful sight to see how much they love each other, and it was very special to watch them love on Baby L.

N booked their at home newborn photoshoot because a family friend of hers who lives in California had gifted her a session with me. Back in fall last year, her family friend had reached out wanting to surprise her with a newborn session. I really thought gifting someone a photoshoot is one of the sweetest gifts that you can ever give. Because you’re not just gifting them photos, you’re actually gifting them memories.

It was a cold & gloomy day when I arrived at their home in Leesburg, VA. We started their photo shoot in their living room; then we moved in towards a spot by their stairs that had a beautiful light. Then we moved in to their master bedroom, stopped by the hallway outside the nursery, before we finished their photo shoot inside the nursery.

Baby L’s nursery was beautifully decorated. What made it even more special was that A built the crib from scratch. I would have never known because it was so well-built. It looked like something that you could buy from a high end baby store.

At the end of the photoshoot, their four-legged family members joined us for some photos. It was a little bit crazy because they were very excited and moving around a lot. But I honestly loved every bit of it. It just shows you exactly what life is really like with a baby and four-legged family members in the mix. I always enjoy seeing & being in the middle of the chaos.

I know Baby L is such a lucky baby boy to have parents who not only love him with all their hearts; but also adore each other just like when they started dating.
