Lifestyle Newborn Pictures in Haymarket, VA

IC, the dad, kissed L, the mom, so tenderly on her forehead as she was holding Baby C in her arms during their lifestyle newborn photos in Haymarket, Virginia. While L was adoringly looking at their newly born baby, IC kissed her again, and again, and again. L just started laughing. The kind of laugh that when you hear gives you all the feels because you can hear the pure joy in it and all the love that’s wrapped all over it.

Last weekend, I had the honor of meeting this beautiful and fun family to document a very special milestone for them, the arrival of Baby C, their first baby. They started 2023 with a bang by welcoming Baby C into their lives. And what an awesome coincidence is it that I kicked off my 2023 doing their lifestyle newborn photos?!

When L and I were talking about their Haymarket, VA lifestyle newborn session, she had shared with me that while they love the tender moments, they also enjoy playful photos of them; so it was definitely my plan to encourage them to show their fun side. But L and IC didn’t really make me work hard for it. From the moment I walked in to their beautiful home and we chatted, I can just see their fun personality shine through effortlessly. L and IC were very cool & fun parents; we had tons of laughter during their photoshoot.

I was also able to meet their four-legged family members and we were lucky to have one of them join us for some of the photos. It is always very special when families opt to have their furry family members be part of their lifestyle newborn pictures because the photos would truly tell their family’s story.

I am obsessed with how L rocked her green hair. Doesn’t she look gorgeous? IC and I had some talk about our caffeine intake. And since I told him how much I drink Coca Cola as my source of caffeine, because I am not a coffee drinker; he shared with me how he got into coffee. He was thinking maybe it could help me switch to coffee because he also wasn’t a coffee drinker before he did that. So I will definitely try that!

L and IC – Thank you so much for trusting me to do your lifestyle newborn photos in Haymarket, Virginia! It was the perfect start to my 2023! I can’t wait to see you both be the best parents to Baby C! She sure is very lucky to have you both in her life.
