MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY WITH TONS OF BLOOMS
These maternity pictures, with tons of flowers, were taken at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. I’ve done a few other maternity photography here at this location before. Back in March, only the cherry blossoms were blooming when I shot the last maternity session here. Now that it’s April, it seems like everything is finally in bloom! It was absolutely beautiful and there were so many spots I could use for these maternity photos.
One of the reasons we chose to shoot this special milestone here was that the mom, J and the dad, N also got married here. Choosing a location that is both beautiful and meaningful can make all the difference in your session. I encourage my clients to not be afraid to choose a location that is special to them for their photos.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It felt like a true spring day. The sun was shining and the temperature was just right, not too hot or too cold. It’s the perfect date, as Miss Rhode Island in Miss Congeniality had said. If you will recall, the last time I shot here, it was still chilly and windy. I was so happy to see the beautiful weather!
J and N are so excited for this baby! This will be the very first baby, as well as the first grandchild for both of their families! To make things even more exciting, J and N have chosen not to find out the gender until the baby arrives. How fun! I think that is so special when parents choose to go this route and I’m always excited to find out what they have when their sweet baby arrives.
J and N are such a playful and fun couple. There was a wedding going on at the same spot we were at for their maternity session at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens and we could hear the music playing from their events. J and M both started dancing and it was just the cutest thing ever! Dancing, and any kind of movement, is always encouraged during a TBP session!
As you probably can tell, this session was so fun! J wore dresses from my client closet and they both fit her beautifully! We talked a lot about parenthood and the things they enjoy doing. They mentioned that their kitchen is also being renovated as they prepare for this exciting change in their life. And they shared all the fun memories they look forward to making there once their family has grown. Hearing all of their plans made me even more excited for them!
J and M – I really enjoyed spending time with both of you during your maternity pictures in Vienna, VA and seeing your personality shine together is just beautiful. You will be such fun parents! I know you are so excited to find out what your precious little one will be. And I bet when that moment comes, it will be perfect! Thank you for trusting me to capture this special season in your lives!
Both of Mom’s outfits were provided by the TBP Client Closet.
