Winnie the Pooh Themed Studio Cake Smash Photos Fairfax, VA
April has been the month for studio cake smash sessions. Haha! This week’s blog post is all about the second cake smash session that I did at the studio in Fairfax, Virginia. I have had the honor of watching this family grow. From their maternity session to their newborn session, TBP had the privilege to document these big milestones for them. So when E, the mom, reached out for a cake smash for W, the baby, you know I did a happy dance.
Mom decided to go with Winnie the Pooh theme. And you know what makes this theme super special? Everything that we used for W’s cake smash photos used to be E’s. Isn’t that amazing?! I love that the theme she chose meant something to her & her family. We started with some family photos because N, the dad, and E wanted to recreate a photo we did during W’s lifestyle newborn session in Marshall, VA. And it turned out so cute!!! I then took some portraits of W before we did the actual cake smash.
W was very serious at first, but he did warm up and started smiling. He wasn’t entirely sure he if liked cake. He did play with it for a short while before he decided he was done. He did have a lot of interest in playing with the stuffed toy so we let him do his thing.
N & E – Thank you so much for trusting me to document another big milestone in your family’s life! I had an amazing time with all of you during W’s studio cake smash session in Fairfax, Virginia. It has been amazing to have witnessed your family grow. I can’t wait to see all the adventures you both will have with W. I have no doubt they will be epic.
