Chantilly, Virginia Maternity Pictures

MATERNITY PHOTOS IN CHANTILLY, VA

This maternity session took place in Chantilly, Virginia. I’ve taken some fall mini sessions here as well as a family session in fall so I knew this location would be beautiful for spring maternity pictures. I was hoping that the grass would be as tall as it was in the fall but when I got here, it had unfortunately been mowed. But the location was still beautiful!

There was a gorgeous cherry tree in bloom that we were able to snag a few photos with before the light changed on us. The day started off very sunny but turned cloudy towards the beginning of the session. We chased the light and caught as many images in the sun as we could whenever it peeped out through the clouds.

The mom, K, and the dad, J, were so sweet. They are welcoming their very first baby! And it’s a very exciting time for both of them and their families! For K’s first outfit, she wore a dress of her choice with a beautiful floral crown made of dried flowers. The pop of colors in her floral crown were perfect for her beautiful white dress. For her second outfit, she wore a kimono dress from my client closet. She was absolutely glowing during her entire session!

K and J wanted to document as much of this special pregnancy as possible. They brought along their sweet little baby’s ultrasound for their maternity pictures! I love little personal touches that clients add into their session because it makes documenting this season of life so much more special.

Overall, I think this session was a success! This session was originally scheduled in March but was rescheduled due to rain. I was so happy that we were able to get some pretty weather for these Chantilly, Virginia maternity pictures before K delivers in a few weeks!

K and J – thank you so much for letting me capture this precious milestone in your life! These Chantilly, VA maternity photos turned out beautifully and perfectly documents this beautiful season of life that you are in. You two are so deserving of this and you will make wonderful parents. Your little one hits the jackpot with you two!
