Chantilly, VA Spring Minis

SPRING MINI SESSIONS IN CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA
These Chantilly, VA spring minis brought me back to a trusted location. I’ve used this park before to host fall mini sessions last year as well as a recent maternity session back in April. Earlier this spring, the grass was still too short, and everything was still dead from winter. It was so nice to see the park in full bloom for spring! The grass had also grown a lot more which helps create a beautiful texture in photos.
The clients for this round of spring mini sessions were a mixture of past clients and new clients. For one client in particular, these spring minis were the third session I’ve had with them. It is so fun getting to work with a client multiple times to capture different seasons in their life. They used the TBP Client Closet so they killed it in the outfits department!
Another client I got to see again was one I shot brand photos for back when I first started my photographer business in 2019. This year, she came back to do mommy and me photos which was truly adorable. I realized I’ve come so far in the last few years, and I love that there are clients who have been with me since the beginning! I am truly grateful for them.
One family had two teenagers. By the end of the session, they were smiling and happily posing with their parents. That’s an accomplishment in my book. Their daughter even asked to give me a hug at the end of their session which really made my day!
The last family that I did photos for, I met through Instagram. We’ve been following one another for almost one year. It was wonderful to finally meet them in person! They are from the Philippines, where I’m originally from. What a small world! They found me from a previous client of mine. They also signed up for a petite session with me through a donation for Moms Demand Action. This was a fundraiser I participated in for the fight against gun violence. Their daughter was so interested in my camera and even took a photo of me! It was adorable.
To my clients – thank you all so much for allowing me to document this season of you life during your Chantilly, VA spring minis! It is such an honor to be a part in your memory making. I hope you all love these photos as much as I loved taking them!
