Maternity Photography

Being a photographer gives me a chance to interact and share some great moments with beautiful people. This family, K – the mom & P – the dad, is no exception. We initially planned their maternity pictures in Reston, Virginia for early August, but due to the weather’s unpredictability, we had to reschedule twice

Time really does fly when you’re having so much fun! I tried my best to slow down especially when I took a break from working in summer and later in the year to make memories with my family. But between all the projects I worked on, sessions I did, and being sick, 2022 left like a parent who forgot it’s time to pick up their child from school.

This maternity session took place in Chantilly, Virginia. I’ve taken some fall mini sessions here as well as a family session so I knew this location would be beautiful for spring maternity pictures. I was hoping that the grass would be as tall as it was in the fall but when I got here, it had unfortunately been mowed. But the location was still beautiful!
