In Home Newborn Photography in Chantilly, VA

In the midst of the haze caused by the devastating wildfire in Canada a few weeks ago, I had the privilege of doing an in home newborn photography in Chantilly, VA for a beautiful family of four in the comfort of their home.

Most of their photos were taken in their lovely living room and nursery. As we go along, I discovered that their kitchen and foyer gave out a soft and natural light so we took some pictures there as well.

A, the mom and B, the dad were so fun and easy to work with. Our session was full of laughter that makes it easier to feel welcome in their home. With a few tricks up my sleeve, I managed to make W, the playful big sister, laugh and smile for their family and W’s individual photos. 

As luck would have it, the grandparents were visiting from different states to celebrate W’s upcoming fourth birthday and seizing this special opportunity, we included them during their in home newborn session as well. Everyone was so warm and pleasant, and what’s even wonderful was learning that B’s dad had been to Manila before and loved it! So we definitely chatted about his trip to Manila.

Baby E proved to be a dream to work with! We never took a break because throughout the photoshoot, she peacefully slept in her parents arms. She was awake towards the end and although she fussed slightly, it was still a breeze to take her pictures.
