Spring Mini Session in Alexandria, Virginia

A few weeks ago, I hosted a spring mini session at a beautiful park in Alexandria, Virginia. It was the first time I did minis here. I had the pleasure of working with six lovely families, which were a mix of past and new clients! It was a warm, sunny day and the park was bustling with photographers and guests, but we managed to find a good spot adorned with pretty flowers that served as the perfect backdrop for our mini sessions, creating a magical atmosphere for everyone involved!

One of the families had participated in a spring mini session in Haymarket, Virginia with me last year when they were just a family of three, and the mother was just expecting then. I was amazed to see how much their family had blossomed! I had another family that I have worked with two years ago from a fall mini session in Sterling, VA. It was truly heartwarming to see how much their girls had grown since then, it’s a heartwarming reminder of how quickly time flies. One family included a delightful teenager. Their energy and laughter added extra liveliness to our mini session.

Most of the families who participated had young children, and to keep the little ones entertained and happy, I sang some popular songs such as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Baby Shark.” The familiar tunes brought smiles and giggles during our spring minis! But mostly, I encouraged kids to be kids.

To all the families – Thank you for spending time with me during these Alexandria, Virginia spring mini sessions. As a photographer, there’s nothing more fulfilling than capturing precious moments of happiness and preserving them for a lifetime. And I loved getting to watch your families grow. I hope you had as much fun as I did!
