NEWBORN PICTURES IN BUNNY THEMED NURSERY IN ALEXANDRIA, VA

It was so sweet to be able to reconnect with this family for their nursery newborn photos in Alexandria, Virginia. I captured their maternity pictures this past spring. It was exciting to meet their new baby boy, H. I could immediately see how much he was loved by mom, K, dad, M, and big brother, J!

The session took place in their home. It was so beautiful which K beautifully decorated and thoughtfully planned the design of. The attention to detail, even for the little things, really took my breath away. We did their newborn session in their gorgeous masted bedroom; but the majority of it was done in baby H’s bunny themed nursery. It was so adorable!

We had such a great time during their nursery newborn photos. The weather started out dark and gloomy before the session. Normally, when it’s dark outside, it would be darker inside a home. However, their home was full of big, beautiful windows. It allowed for so much natural light to seep in which is great for shooting in home sessions! Then later on, the weather cleared up beautifully for the newborn photos, so the lighting was perfect.

It was so nice to reconnect with the family during the session. Mom and Dad were happy to report that Baby H was adjusting well. He is a good eater and great sleeper at night which is a big help! Baby H was awake for his entire newborn session. Mom said it was surprising because that time was usually his nap time. He must’ve been really interested by the camera and all of the excitement happening!

K, M, J and Baby H – Thank you all so much for inviting me into your beautiful home to capture Baby H’s nursery newborn photos in Alexandria, VA! This is such a special season in life for your growing family. Enjoy all of the snuggles you can!
