FIRST BIRTHDAY CAKE SMASH PICTURES BY VIRGINIA CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHER
Last weekend, I had the honor of documenting E’s first birthday cake smash photos at their lovely home in Prince William County, Virginia. She had just turned 1 the day before and had a mini party to celebrate with her beautiful family. From the photos I saw, her party looked so much fun.
The entire theme for E’s cake smash pictures were carefully planned by her mom, S. She was very excited when we were planning E’s photo shoot. Every single detail was well thought out. No wonder everything turned out amazing. She even thought about adding those adorable gold butterflies on the cake stand and throughout the entire setup. I must say that it was a very well-executed cake smash theme. It was very dreamy. You can’t even tell from these photos that it was raining ice outside.
S and E had been practicing smashing cakes before our cake smash photo shoot last weekend to get E ready for her big day. In fact, on E’s birthday the day before, she smashed a chocolate cake. E was crying with chocolate icing on her face (which was still adorable) in one of the photos I saw of her that S posted on her Facebook account; so I was more than prepared that we will have a crying baby during the actual cake smash photo shoot. But E did an awesome job. She smashed, played with, and ate her cake like it was nobody’s business. I mean, can you blame her? I don’t know about you but that’s how I enjoy my cake too (minus the smashing part).
S – Thank you so much for trusting me to document E’s special milestone. I had the best time with you & your family. E is very lucky to be loved by so many, especially by you. You are an amazing mom for doing all of these for her and so much more. I hope you love seeing E through my lens. She is truly so adorable. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things she will do as she grows. 🙂
