Petrichor creates handmade candles using clean, high-quality ingredients, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, safety, and an even burn. Each candle is finished with refined, elevated packaging and paired with a matchbox, small details that turn a simple product into a full experience. At its core, the brand is about slowing down, reconnecting with memories, and creating moments of quiet luxury at home.
For their product photos, our goal was to photograph the candles in a way that felt natural, lived-in, and true to the brand, focusing on imagery that invites customers to envision Petrichor as part of their everyday home.
Rather than focusing on one single setup, we approached this candle brand product photography session as a story told throughout a home. The idea was simple: allow each scent to live in an environment that complements its mood. Cozy corners, everyday routines, and slow moments were all intentionally considered: from entryway styling to living spaces, bedrooms, workspaces, and more. The details were planned carefully, but the final images were meant to feel effortless.
This kind of approach is exactly why lifestyle product photography matters, especially for candle brands. Candles aren’t just objects; they’re part of daily routines.
